Almost Alive turns falling-moon concept into new single ‘Moon Come Down’
A visual idea came first for Almost Alive’s latest track.
Project founder Evan Kanter initially imagined the moon slowly descending towards Earth, creating the basis for the atmosphere behind “Moon Come Down”.
From there, the concept developed into a heavy alternative-rock track influenced by the dramatic tone of Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun and the broader weight of early-2000s post-grunge.
The accompanying video extends that idea through AI-generated imagery assembled and edited by Kanter himself. Multiple platforms were used during production, including Hedra and Kling AI, before the finished sequences were cut together in Adobe Premiere Pro.
The single introduces Headwinds, a forthcoming album expected to place greater emphasis on guitar-led rock than some of Almost Alive’s earlier releases.
It also represents a notable visual shift, with Kanter appearing as an AI-rendered frontman for the first time.
