A fun and catchy pop track with elements of jazz, R&B and soul, turning the whole lockdown experience into a positive one? Yes please. Well, you’ve got it with Etoile Marley’s latest release.
Etoile Marley is an Australian-French singer-songwriter based in London, UK. She has previously worked as a dancer and circus performer and turned her attention to music after an injury. Let’s hear what the artist has to say in her words about this knock-out new single:
‘My feeling about LockItDown is to bring something positive to the table during a time that is difficult for most. It’s in my nature to always try to turn a negative into a positive, it’s how I’ve gotten to where I am now (when I injured my back, I had to “break up” with dance but it gave me the the time to pursue music). I’m shooting a music video for LockItDown which will come out close to the release of my EP along with a video for each of the other 5 tracks. The EP as a whole is a culmination of some of the emotions I personally have gone through in this time but also a reflection of what is going on in the world right now.’
We can’t WAIT to see the video and hear the EP - we’re sure it’s nothing short of fantastic. This is an artist who just keeps on delivering.
