ICYMI: Brooklyn's Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L dropped a V-day double.

Updated: Mar 23, 2020

Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L set the valentines day tone with his double-single I Ran Into My Ex On Valentine's Day...She Was Okay', it's just a shame we missed it.

The first track of this release titled ‘Pisces’ is written about a pre-argument argument with an ex, whereby Breon is mentally preparing himself for the unexpected events of this dispute and how the same negative points of disagreement used in the past are once again thrown his way:

“how she is going to repeat things she said throughout relationship, how she still cares for me, how I cant accept that and how it makes me feel hearing it. This song is very fast paced and floaty, almost like having an out of body anxiety attack (which is how I feel whenever we used to have an argument). This song simulates the bad times.”

The second track ‘Kill Me Now!’ is the perfect counterpart to the first, denoting an opposite approach and outlook. It details the early honeymoon period of a relationship, where things are easy, bright and clear:

“Everything was easy going, bright and clear. (Much like the simple, straight forward mixing approach taken on this song). Its me being in Lala land, without me realizing the doom that will follow which is why the song is titled “Kill Me Now!” I would rather leave the planet than go through that again, no matter how good it felt.”
