Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L endeavored on a double single drop on the 14th of February 2020. He has been steadily and surely climbing through the ranks of Hip-Hop out on the East coast of America. The Brooklyn born rapper and Hip-Hop artist has stamped his unique sound all over New York in recent years. He originally began writing music as a form of self recognition and quickly found himself catching the ears of a local audience with his floaty, playful and bouncy sound. Breon combines his vocal capabilities with his philosophical lyrics to form his identity and outlook as an artist.
This double track drop was released on Valentine's day 2020 and both tracks have a common thread theme of past relationships and ultimately, relationship breakdown. They are designed to counteract each other and you can safely say he achieved this. The first song ‘Pisces’ denotes the notion of an argument before an argument. It details the snowballing effect of an argument becoming worse and worse and being helpless in being able to do anything about it. The track has a nice overall production with an ambivalent and atmospheric feel. This is supported by the wide stereo field and soft pads who were carefully created by Breon’s producer WhatsHisName.
The second track ‘Kill Me Now!’ has much more of a chilled vibe to it and was written about the good times of a relationship and the ‘honeymoon period’. Breon tried to mimic the mixing and production style to the simple, easy and enjoyable early days of his relationship.
Overall these are two nicely contrasting tracks which demonstrate Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L’s versatility as an artist. He’s certainly gaining traction and we’ll be keeping a close watch on his future releases of 2020.
