Swedish Pop Singer YARLIE Explores Forbidden Love in "Call of the Night"

Competing against the multitude of incredible Swedish pop acts might be daunting to some, but singer-songwriter Yarlie does it with equal parts ease and extravagance. The girl who makes songs perfect for cry-dancing now is back with "CALL OF THE NIGHT," a song about a forbidden love. "It's a story about forbidden love and the feeling of not being able to be yourself,” Yarlie explains. “...Or not being allowed to be yourself. That’s what Call of the Night is about.”

With swooping beats, lush synths, catch lyrics and booming pop-driven performances, “Call of the Night” is a hopeful song about diving into a forbidden, restrictive love that might just make you realize who you really are.
