Hard rock collective The Dead Daisies return with Lookin’ For Trouble, a blistering tribute to the blues recorded live at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. What began as a late-night jam session turned into a full-blown album project, produced by Marti Frederiksen and infused with the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll’s roots.
Reimagining classics with unfiltered energy, the band tears through ten blues staples including a fiery take on Robert Johnson’s “Crossroads,” a swagger-heavy spin on John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom,” and the thunderous new focus track “Black Betty.” Each cut drips with soul, distortion, and reverence for the genre’s legacy.
“This album is our love letter to the blues,” says frontman John Corabi. “It’s the soul of rock ‘n’ roll — it’s in everything we do.”
