Tom Sail's newest single Hold Me Closer blooms from sparse whirling melodies into cruising indie-pop, with driving kit and deeper lyricism. Discussing topics around relationships and mental health, Tom’s offering provides a necessary source of sincere respite in these darkened times.
The Manchester-bred singer-songwriter now based in London has dropped his third single from his debut album released on April 3rd. Discussing the albums production, Tom explains:
“I come from a very musical family, and taught myself to play since I was 10 years old,” Sail says. Some of the ideas for my music were generated during a six-month trip through South-East Asia, Australia and America and written in the back of a camper van on a tiny guitar I bought in Vietnam”.
With influences stemming from The Beatles, The War on Drugs, Tame Impala and Oasis, Tom still carries a unique sound that's truly his own.
