2ŁØT and Aloe Blacc share powerful new single "Immortal"

Emerging boundary-pushers 2ŁØT have joined forces with GRAMMY-nominated soul artist Aloe Blacc for a striking new release, “Immortal.” Rooted in the ancient concept of memento mori—the reminder that life is finite—the track is anything but somber. Instead, it’s a vibrant call to action, asking listeners: What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

Blending 2ŁØT’s genre-bending production with Aloe Blacc’s stirring vocals, “Immortal” explores life’s fragility with uplifting urgency. “‘Immortal’ is about unlocking the part of you that’s waiting to be set free,” says Rudy Love Jr. of 2ŁØT. “Fear is the biggest barrier between you and your true calling.”

For Blacc, the song’s core line—“when I tumble over, the broken pieces fit together better in the end”—evokes the Japanese art of kintsugi, turning scars into strength. “It’s one of the strongest songs I’ve been part of writing,” he adds.
