After spending the last few months building and developing his distinctly vibrant sound, Reading-based singer and songwriter Du’val has now delivered his highly-anticipated new EP ‘Moments’.
Featuring the singles ‘Worthy’, ‘Orchid’ and the collection’s title-track, ‘Moments’ is a broad and eclectic showcase of the artist’s vocal and production talents. Combining a shimmering marriage of RnB, garage, and soul flavours, this new EP makes a bold introduction to his work and spells the early beginnings of a true talent in the making.
Duval started singing and performing at a very young age, initially gaining confidence and performance technique from his time working within performing arts. He grew in the era of grime cyphers, through the speakers of mobile phones. This was the first experience he ever gained in the creative process. Making catchy bars, and hooks for various local rappers.
This would later lead on to professional writing opportunities with major labels such as Warner Chappel Music Group, where he would go onto write music for film and production music worldwide.
Influenced by rock, indie, pop, grime, trap, soul, and RnB, Duval has developed a unique writing style, which teamed with a powerful, uniquely British vocal, makes for a captivating listening experience.
