EVER shares effortlessly cool, new Indie-Pop gem 'Counting Flowers'

Alt-Pop songstress EVER unveils her harmonious new single ‘Counting Flowers’, out today via Yada Yada Records.

After initially turning heads last year with her debut track ‘Bloom’, her subsequent singles saw EVER venture further into alt-pop territory in an organic and effortless way. With lyricism that’s easily accessible yet born from a place of authenticity; it’s not hard to understand why, even in the relative infancy of her career, EVER‘s music has already struck a chord with so many.

EVER explains on email:“Counting Flowers is very much inspired by the role reversal that takes place when loved ones get older. The lyrics narrate the relationship I’ve had with my Grandmother, who’s always been a strong female figure in my life. She nurtured me from a baby, right through adulthood. I have been shaped by her values and unconditional love. This song is a love letter to her”.

EVER once again works with long-time collaborator Scott Verrill (better known as alt-pop artist kwassa), who’s recently worked with the likes of Greyson Chance and Charlotte Clark.

The young singer-songwriter is currently working on new music, and we couldn't be more excited to hear more.
