Galway band TaLLLon build momentum with new single ‘Go Back Again’

Galway alternative-rock group TaLLLon have returned with “Go Back Again”, continuing a period of steady growth for the young four-piece.

Formed in 2023 after meeting through the city’s School of Rock programme, the band have since developed their live sound with support from Music Generation Galway City and attracted early attention from outlets including RTÉ 2FM, Galway Bay FM and IMRO.

Their latest single blends post-grunge weight with melodic hooks and synth-backed atmosphere. Its lyrics focus on nostalgia, relationships that have changed over time and the process of accepting that certain parts of life cannot be recreated.

The song was assembled collaboratively after beginning with a guitar riff from Liam Carroll and was taken straight to the stage once completed.

The recording includes the drum performance of late member Adam Nagajek, whose contribution remains part of the band’s continuing story.

TaLLLon are now working towards the release of debut EP Found and Forgotten.
