Following in the footsteps of pop wunderkinds Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato – LA-based Gina DiGiorgio launched her career at an early age, starring on-screen and in musical theatre productions before turning her talent to pop music.
Now, with the help of multi-platinum producer Andrew Lane (Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Backstreet Boys), Gina has combined her love of theatrics and hook-heavy music to produce the kind of moody, tongue-in-cheek pop we heard on Taylor Swift’s Reputation album.
Speaking about her newest single This Isn’t That, Gina says: “The song is about being yourself and not comparing yourself to others. My hope is that this song will inspire and empower people during this difficult year.” The new offering follows on from previous single Figure Out, released earlier this year.
With her star in ascension, Gina looks to be joining prodigies Bea Miller, Maggie Lindemann and Alice Chater on the way to the top of the pop pantheon.
