‘I Want You Way’ and ‘Encore Plus’ come together on Tom Ymani’s ‘Amorium’
Two new songs form the latest release from Belgian artist Tom Ymani.
‘Amorium’ brings together “I Want You Way” and “Encore Plus”, with both tracks examining the same emotional territory from slightly different angles.
At the centre of the project is the rush of developing feelings for someone, complicated by distance, existing relationships or mismatched circumstances. Ymani uses that tension as the lyrical foundation for a pair of upbeat pop tracks that place vulnerability inside energetic production.
The release also reflects the 23-year-old’s increasingly hands-on creative process. After teaching himself to sing and beginning home production several years ago, Ymani has continued to write his own vocal parts and shape the direction of his recordings.
The project arrives with an accompanying music video and continues his wider focus on identity, freedom and celebration through pop.
