Coventry born singer-songwriter Izzie Derry's latest EP is a daring body of work, titled 'Take It From Me'. When people say daring, they allude to the fact the risk may not have been worth the reward - we are certainly not doing that. Derry's EP is well crafted and a perfect example of songwriting with a hardened edge that could be likened to Jade Bird. Check it below:
Discussing the release Izzie says:
“The tracks were recorded with everyone playing at the same time, which gave the tracks the vibe that music used to have, like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. No fake instruments or over processed vocals, just people in a room bouncing off each other’s energy.”
