Kip Macklejar returns with the stunning single 'The Coal Miner's Daughter'

Having already found huge support for his previously shared singles ‘Alligator Swamp Monster’, ‘I’m Sorry’, ‘Tell Me What I Said’ and ‘Headphones On’ over the last year, Copenhagen-based singer and songwriter Kip Macklejar now continues the support for his forthcoming debut EP with his latest blues-rock belter ‘The Coal Miner’s Daughter’.

With strong and powerful riffs reminiscent of Jack White, ‘The Coal Miner’s Daughter’ makes for an incredibly rich and textured return for the artist. Filled with high-energy production, sweeping melodies, and some truly soaring vocal performances, his latest release looks set to become one of his most engaging and captivating cuts to date.

Speaking about the new single, Kip said, “I 'accidentally' wrote this while trying to finish my other track (Alligator Swamp Monster), I started playing this riff, and then and it just instantly turned into this whole other thing, and I had the whole idea for the song in one short moment, then I kept building on it, I thought it would be cool to have an animated music video, and then thought it would be even better if i carry the story on in future songs, so that's what i did…”
