Perfectparachutepicture release new single 'The Stream'

Alt-rock duo Perfectparachutepicture hail from Sheffield, and they make a point of bringing a wealth of steely grit to their musical output. Despite falling 2 members short of the average rock outfit, PPP more than make up for it in their explosive bass riffs and driving rhythms. 'The Stream' is their most accomplished anthem yet and is accompanied by a mysterious video depicting one mans aimless journey to find a bear a home - sounds interesting, right?

Speaking of the meaning behind their new track, the band reveals:

“‘The Stream’ is a song about being pinned down by life, being stuck in a rut, a never ending loop where our existence is questioned so we end up finding meaning in the smallest things. The song is about realising that our life is in our hands and the only person who can change our outcome is ourselves.”

With airplay in the US and mainland Europe, the band have had avid success with the likes of CLASH, CLOUT and BBC Radio 6 via introducing legend Tom Robinson. Their previous three singles, ‘They Only Want’, ‘Working Machine’ and ‘Lonely Landslide’, have reached the IndieXL Top 40 charts in the Netherlands, with their single 'Working Machine' reaching number 3. 'Working Machine' also reached number 8 in the BBC Introducing Sheffield's Top 50 tracks of 2020, and their single 'They Only Want' reached number 6 in the IndieXL 'Best Song of 2020' list. With every release that the band puts out, they move forward in leaps and bounds and they are destined for further success. ‘The Stream’ is the next release to further establish the band on the UK’s rock scene.
