Surrey’s Sunday Smoke continues to build on their early momentum with the release of ‘You Again’, a vibrant indie return that leans into the band’s knack for melody-driven songwriting. Emerging onto the scene in 2025, the three-piece have quickly found their footing on the live circuit, carving out a reputation for colourful, guitar-led releases. Driven by slick rhythms and bright, swirling riffs, ‘You Again’ lands with a confident sense of identity. Pummelling drums anchor the track as its indie-pop sheen cuts cleanly through, balancing nostalgic nods to noughties guitar music with a polished, contemporary edge.
Speaking about the single, the band explains, “This song is about the grey area after a breakup, when you know you should move on, but you still feel pulled back into something that hurts. It’s about missing someone, replaying everything, and wondering how long it really takes to fall out of love… or fall back in.”
