Bridging together infectious house grooves, hard-hitting drums and sultry lyrics that describe a high stakes poker table romance, Diskull has finally made his return with “Lucky Charm.” The Charlotte-based artist’s third single this year, “Lucky Charm” is a stunning fusion between garage and tech house, with its UK bassline sound design and unmatched energy making up for a tune that is bound to start lighting up dancefloors in no time.
“’Lucky Charm’ is a track I made when I was going through a lot during the winter,” explained Diskull in a press statement. “I had a ton going on personally and music was the only way to distract me and convey my emotions. I really wanted to make something different than what I normally make, something more deep and melodic with a big female vocal. The track is a lot of my friends and family's favorite record of mine yet and I am really proud of that.”
A talented producer, DJ and label owner, Diskull launched his Groovy Bone imprint in late 2018, having released massive Beatport chart-topping singles and compilations ever since. His first big break came in early 2021 with his “Bodies Rushing” peaking at #30 on the Beatport Hype Tech House Chart, while receiving radio support from the likes of by CID on Diplo's Revolution, Golf Clap on Insomniac Radio, and UK's Deeper Purpose on Repopulate Mars' Jumpin' Jam Fest live stream.
