John Tibbits makes impression with new E.P “Light of the Flame”

John Tibbits wants his audience to find solace within his music. Upon moving to London, Tibbits spent time working in a white collar job in London. His lyrics speak to the banalities of working life, as well as romance, political cynicism and his passion for music itself.

Tibbits is back with a new E.P entitled “Light of the Flame.” Merging folk and alternative together, the E.P is musically immersive offering. Featuring stripped-back, emotional tunes to electronic-tinged offerings, “Light of the Flame” has something on it for everyone.

Speaking about the E.P, he says: “This is a record that captures an array of themes: growing up (Stupid and Dumb), romance (Find the Key), political cynicism (Light of the flame), a passion for music (Our Moment) and embracing life (Make what you will). Me and Jak (my producer) had a lot of fun recording the EP, and allowed ourselves to experiment with different sounds, especially on Light of the Flame.”

John Tibbits is going to make 2023 his year. We’re sure of it.
