Creating honest and relatable folk-pop gems, Ollie Wade undoubtedly has an impressive career ahead of him. The 25-year-old artist started building an online following throughout his teenage years by uploading covers and vlogs on YouTube, and went on to release his debut single “Free” at the age of 17, followed by a UK iTunes Top 10 debut EP with Falling.
Inspired by artists such as Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard, Ollie Wade just shared his latest single “A Song For Me,” following up earlier 2020 gems such as “Love’s Mistake,” “Overflow” and “Hero.” Written about an ex-lover, “A Song For Me” is yet another stunning effort from the UK-based songwriter, driven by heavenly vocals lines and an infectious instrumental.
“I used to be in a pretty serious relationship with a Songwriter and Artist. It’s been a while since we broke up, but I can’t help but wonder if they ever wrote a song about me and if they did, what it would say? Because even after all this time, every song I write still leads back to her,” explained Ollie Wade.
