Putting her own spin on a classic-style R&B record, UK artist on the rise Rosita wows on her silky jam ‘Masterpiece’. The empowering track radiates Rosita’s confidence and poise, as she aims to inspire self-love and self-belief in her listeners. The singer-songwriter takes influence from the likes of Lauryn Hill and H.E.R, and is already making a big impression with her luxe sound. This Gloucestershire based artist has built a significant profile in the area, performing at Gloucester Rooftop Festival, Wychwood Festival and Gloucester Guildhall, supporting Lucy Spraggan, and appearing on their BBC Radio Station numerous times. As well as this, Rosita has had appearances on BBC Introducing and BBC Merseyside and at Deaf Institute, Birmingham Symphony Hall and NEC Birmingham.
Discussing the meaning behind the latest release, Rosita said: “This song was all about confidence and self love for me, being able to learn to love myself and not care about people’s unsolicited opinions. Knowing that struggle was only temporary, and that no matter what I'd soon bounce back.”
