Amana Melome' has looked back to the beginning of her recording career as part of new album 'RECALIBRATED'.

Among the project’s reworked material is 'Space Age Mama Jama', the first song she recorded for debut album Indigo Red. More than a decade later, Amana has returned to the track with a different perspective on the confident character at its centre.

The song joins a wider collection of reinterpretations based largely on her recent Recalibration album. Producers from Europe and South America bring new house, disco, funk, jazz and reggae elements to the material.

The project was created as a celebration of the personal changes documented on the previous record, with Amana shifting the emphasis from introspection towards movement and release.

Amana will continue the album campaign with European performances during October.
